Instant Noodles

The Instant Noodles is a type of Instant Noodles, made from any of a variety of doughs, formed into long thin ribbons, strips, curly-cues, waves, helices, pipes, tubes, strings, or other various shapes, sometimes folded. They are usually cooked in a mixture of boiling water and or oil. Depending upon the type, Instant Noodles may be dried or refrigerated before cooking. The word derives from the German Instant Noodles (Instant Noodles). Archaeologists have found an earthenware bowl containing world's oldest known Instant Noodles, roughly 4000 years old, at the Lajia archaeological site of the Qijia culture along the Yellow River in China. The Instant Noodles were well-preserved. After research with parts of the Instant Noodles remains in 2004, scientists have determined that the Instant Noodles have been made from foxtail millet and broomcorn millet. The findings were published in October 2005 by Houyuan Lu et al. in the journal Nature. The earliest written record of Instant Noodless is from a book dated to the Eastern Han Dynasty period .Instant Noodles, often made from wheat dough, became a prominent staple food by the Han Dynasty .

The Past
Noodles Manufacturer Malaysia
First incorporated in the northern state of Kedah in 1975, Vit Makanan (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd. started out as a food trader; channelling and distributing food to both suppliers and consumers alike. Success at food distribution led to them venturing into the instant noodle industry with the procurement of a manufacturing machine in 1977. This was later followed by the procurement of more advance machineries that helped bolster their competitiveness by not only reducing their operating costs, but also minimized machine breakdowns and increased the quality of their products.

Initially kept as a very tight and resource intensive venture, the company expanded its business due to rising demands. And in 1978, the company acquired the use of 33,000 square feet of factory area in Selayang to house their machineries.

Experiencing tremendous growth, the company was compelled to aggressively expand its business in 1998 with the acquisition of a 105,000 square ft. of factory land in Rawang industrial area. This new factory was fitted with the latest in instant noodle manufacturing machineries, capable of ramping up their production and output to a new level.

Our Company Logo

The Phoenix is a legendary creature that represents luck, immortality and rebirth. Free spirited, it never yields to any challenges, choosing instead to brave anything that comes its way. It is for this reason that the company chose the legendary creature not only as a company symbol, but also to represent the company’s belief, courage and vision. In addition, the Phoenix symbolizes uniqueness and rarity as there is ever only one Phoenix. And much like the legendary creature, there is only one Vit Makanan (Kuala Lumpur) Sdn. Bhd.

Combined with a name “VIT” that means ‘unique’ in traditional Chinese characters, the company is sending a clear message; that it is ready in mind, body and spirit to become one of Malaysia’s best food manufacturers.
